This past Saturday, we went to Pulte's Homes 1st Annual Family BBQ at Rawhide, which is at Gila River Casinos. Pulte made it really fun for the kids and they had all kinds of water blow-up thingys and carnival games and rides. But the thing that really got my attention was the location. The place has a very western feel to it and they have a little strip that makes you feel like you are in the Wild West. I thought that it would be a very cool place to take family pictures because of the scenery. But they have all kinds of things to do like a petting zoo, steak house, a cafe, and a shooting range, shooting show, bull rides, and more. We definitely need to go back there and try everything in the fall because it's nearing summer and is just too hot right now.
Emi, She has this weird smile now, where her jaw goes a little crooked. I hope she grows out of it. It's amazing that she already has a picture smile, she's too young for that.
Mmmm.... Cotton Candy, my favorite. This was worth the whole trip. I haven't had this in years. Look at that BIG belly, she looks like the third world country baby, except that she's fat and has a belly and not skinny with the belly.
Emi's balloon flower that broke in 5 seconds. Good thing we took a picture of it.
Emi's new friend, Sophia. She is too cute!
I don't know what this is, but being the mean parents that we are, had to put her in it.

I've been tagged...
I finally did a tag!!!
I’m really bad at this because I look at it and I think that no one really wants to know anything about me. Also, some of those tags are really long, and I’m probably the laziest person out there. But I got this tag from my friend Sanae, and it’s the shortest one I’ve seen so far, so I decided to do it.
My answers are bold and italicized as well.
1. Some relationships are meant to help you be a better you and have fun! Those are the relationships that I love. Anything else, takes too much work and then it’s more of a hassle.
2. Diamond Rio is the last concert I saw. That was in 2006. We were on some concert kick that year and went to a lot of concerts in Utah. While we were there, we saw this man with the greatest mullet on earth. It was a little concert in Spanish Fork, which was definitely a different crowd. I loved it!!! I was so scared that this big mullet man was going to beat me up after I took this picture, so I took it very quietly.
3. Spring should be air conditioned free. It’s ridiculous that I have to turn on the A/C already in spring??? It’s going to be a rough summer…
4. Oh no! I forgot to make salsa for BBQ tonight. Need to get started on that before I do anything else. It will be my second attempt to making salsa, got recipe from my mother-in-law. (My other attempt did not work out at all and was nasty). If it works and taste good, I’ll post it on my blog.
5. I've recently started stamp club. I didn’t think I would be doing this too. I had an image of stampers (like little kids playing with stamps), but there are so many things that you can do with it and so many cute options. I’m not good by any means. This is little something that I did in stamp club. OK... I really didn't do it myself, Heather helped me out tons. :) It probably wouldn't look this nice if I was doing this myself.
6. Emi all rolled up in her blankets in the morning that all I see is her face popping out when I go get her in the morning never fails to make me smile. I’ve been blessed with a child that loves to sleep. Now that I say that, she’s not going to want to sleep anymore.
7. And as for the weekend, spending time with my family. I have not spent time with Blaine this whole week. The total amount of time that I have spent with him each day is about 30 minutes. So, I will enjoy spending time with him getting our backyard done, going to Pulte (Work) barbeque, going to friend’s BBQ, and going to church. All I can say is that I’m kind of sick of hamburgers.
And for all my friends… I won’t tag anyone, this one is a freebie, but the next time, Watch Out! This is for all the other people that have tagged me, but I haven’t responded to yet. Sorry, I promise to be a better tagger.

Cute Pictures of Temple Trip
So, here's more pictures of my family. Last week Tuesday, we went to the Mesa temple to go and see the Reflections of Christ exhibit that they have in the visitor center. If you haven't gone yet, you should go. But here's a little warning, it's really short. Although it's kind of short, the pictures and the setup of the pictures are amazing. It really allows you to feel the spirit by showing the events of Christ's life.
After the temple, we went to Bajio's and had lunch. I always think of Utah when I go to Bajio. I miss just driving about 5 - 10 minutes to go to Bajio. So yummy! I guess you enjoy it more when you can't have it as much. All I know is that they better get some GOOD restaurants here in Laveen. :)
Anyways, here's some nice pictures of everyone.
My Mom, Rika, and Emi at the temple.

Oh my goodness, I love this picture. Emi hates grass, so she just cries and cries when she has to stand on it. I guess that's what you get when you haven't done your backyard yet.
My sister and Emi. Emi loves my sister so much. Emi has some kind of connection with my sister ever since she was born. She always wants to go to her. Weird...

Grand Canyon Trip
This past week my family was able to come and visit us. It was so much fun to have them around and to help out and play with Emi chan. She loved my family (especially my sister) and was out of control with her dancing and talking. She is so funny because now she is like a parrot and tries to copy everything. She has turned out to be quite the little entertainer.
This past Thursday and Friday we stayed in Flagstaff and then went to the Grand Canyon. The Grand Canyon was beautiful. It’s amazing to see it with your own eyes. I’ve always seen pictures of it, but to actually be there, was kind of spiritual. It is definitely a place that I would recommend to see before you die. Also the Grand Canyon National Park was so much fun. There are so many things to do on the South Rim Side, that I can’t wait to go back and take a trip to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.
Overall, it was a great trip and a little mini weeklong vacation for me. I love it when my family comes and miss them so much. I have so much fun with them and wish they were closer so that I can see them more often.
Here are some pictures of our trip from the Grand Canyon.
My Mom and Emi at the Grand Canyon Imax Theater.
My family posing at the Grand Canyon.
The beautiful Grand Canyon.
Me resting at the Canyon.
Emi always posing in front of the camera.
We finally have a family picture with everyone!!! This is a miracle… :)
Grandpa and Grandma and Emi
My Mom and Dad helping Emi to walk at the Indian Ruins at the Grand Canyon. I can’t believe people actually lived up there. Can you imagine waking up to that everyday? Amazing...
The final lookout point of the Grand Canyon.
And finally, the Grand Canyon with a peek of the Colorado River.
