Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day! I'm still in Tennesee with my Mom and we have no husbands or fathers here with us. My Dad was called to active duty for the Army this June and will be in Washington State for three months and Blaine has a crazy school schedule this summer so I decided to come out here to get a little vacation for me with my Mom. It's been fun and definitely relaxing for me, but not so much for my Mom. :) Thanks, Mom!

Just wanted to post some pics of my Dad. We were able to see him for one day before he left to go to Washington. Emi is really shy with new people but she loves her Grandpa and went to him very easily. So that was nice, since he was leaving the next day.

Please ignore the drool, my daughter has a drooling problem.

Just wanted to say thank you for everything that you have done for me and I love you Dad.

Also, Thank you Blaine for being such a loving father and supportive husband. Emi and I love you!!! Happy Father's Day!

David Archuleta and Guillermo

Ok, ok... I know that American Idol is over, but my mom is a huge crazy David Archuleta fan and I'm in Tennessee right now visiting my Mom and sister, so she showed me this clip of an interview with him and my favorite Guillermo from the Jimmy Kimmel Show. This clip is so funny, but if you're not a Archuleta fan, then it probably won't make any sense. Both of them are so cute together. :) Go Archuleta!

Grandma is in town!

My Grandma from Maui came to Arizona, so last Sunday we decided to all go out to eat with my cousin who lives in Chandler. It was so much fun seeing them and ever since my cousin moved from Oahu to Arizona, my Grandma has been quite the traveler. It's been good for us because we definitely enjoy having more of MY family being close.
Here's some pictures.

Keely, Grandma, Ryen, Me, and Emi. This family is cursed with girls. The Minami side just cannot have any boys. Poor Blaine was the only male there. hahaha... It's good for him.

The girls outside Texas Roadhouse. Keely and Ryen were so cute with Emi. They loved having a little baby around.

Memorial Day Weekend Part II

Yes, we finally went to Mexico for the Memorial Day Weekend. It feels like we have been trying so hard to get back there, but something happens and we have to reschedule. But this time for sure, we made it! They were having a little circus there in Casa Grandes, so we decided to walk around and check all the animals that they had there. It was kind of scary because you could walk right up to these tigers, lions, and jaguars. These poor animals were locked up in their cages, so in my head I kept imagining that they would get really mad and then break out of their metal cages. Yes, I have quite the imagination. But other than that, we didn't do too much, just hanged out at Grandma's house. It was a nice little vacation for me because lately I have been so busy, so going to Mexico forces me to stop all work (no cell phone connection) and just relax.

Grandma set up a pool for the kids. It was the freakishly cold Memorial Day Weekend, which never happens, so unfortunately most of kids did not go in, except for Greysen and Charly Jae. (They're crazy!!! :))

Emi playing at Grandma's house.

Preslee, Emi, Cash, and Greysen playing on the wonderful, wonderful tricycle. This tricycle is the coolest thing. You can pull your friends in the back of it. It's probably a safety hazard; as a result, you can only get this bike in Mexico.

Charly Jae and Emi beating Preslee with a shovel in Grandma's sandbox. This picture makes me laugh. I'm SO sorry Preslee.

Playing the piano at Grandma's house. Look at Emi's face, she was in heaven pounding those keys, maybe a future piano player???
