There's really not that much that has been happening in our lives, but I feel so exhausted. Probably because the Primary Program, which by the way was yesterday, has been kind of wearing me down, I don't know why, but it has. The dreaded "s" word (school) has finally kicked into high gear and having Blaine not here has also made me so tired. I feel like a lamo because I only have one child, so I really have nothing to complain about. But sometimes there are days that are rough and all I want to do is lie in bed till my headache goes away. hahah... ok, ok, I'll stop complaining.
Like I said before, haven't done much in the past 2 weeks, so here's pictures of Emi around the house.
This is Emi's friend Chase. She's just helping him with the train, or maybe she's trying to push him off. She has a little problem with sharing. Need to work on that.
Emi hanging out with Dad in the backyard.
Picture after playing in the splashpad. Can you believe that it's still over a hundred here? Yuck, can't wait till it cools off...
Playing in the front yard. I told you that we haven't gone anywhere, all these pictures are from our house. Her hair is out of control. I'm so tempted to cut her hair and make bangs.
and finally... Picture of her always eating.

Labor Day to Mexico, Again?
Yes, we went to Mexico again for the Labor Day weekend. I didn't know we were going till Wednesday night, so it was kind of an unplanned trip for us. Blaine wanted to head down before he got too involved with school.
It was a nice little break for us as we headed up into the mountains and enjoyed much cooler weather. I can't wait for it to become cold in Arizona. If you live here, you just sweat all the time.
While we were there, we went to the Whetten's ranch house and enjoyed some peace and quiet up in the mountains. But I guess we didn't get that much peace and quiet with four little kids running around. My child being the worse, of course. But Emi had a nice time playing with her cousins and just being outside all day.
While we were driving to Mexico, we saw a few rattlesnakes on the road. It had been raining a lot, so they were just moving onto the dirt road to get dry. I have never seen a rattlesnake out in the wild, so of course we had to stop and take a picture. I was so scared because some of them were moving really fast, so I thought they were going to attack me. Scary snakes...
Emi and Blaine on the ride to Mexico. It's about eight hours to get there, and now that we go all the time, I'm used to it and it's really not that bad anymore.
Emi and her cousins, Greysen and Preslee, at the ranch house. She loved being outside and just getting her hands dirty.
