Happy Easter 2009 and Other Random Stuff

Hope everyone had a Happy Easter! This year we spent Easter weekend up in Thatcher, AZ where Blaine's parents now live. We went to their annual Allred Easter Picnic which is Blaine's mom side of the family. It never rains in Arizona, but on Easter weekend it did and so the picnic was kind of wet and cold. As a result, no pictures, but it was good to meet new family that I have never met before.

Here's Emi and Grandma reading a book at Great Grandma's house. I think that's all the pictures that I took while we were up in Thatcher, so that's pretty sad.

Because we went to Thatcher for the weekend, we had our Easter Egg Hunt on Friday night. I wasn't too sure if Emi would catch on to the egg hunting, but if there is candy involved, she will get anything. She had so much fun with the easter egg hunt that I think Blaine had to hide the eggs four times in a row.


Then she got her easter basket from Baachan and Grandpa (my mom and dad). She was super happy about that. Thank you!


Her ducky that she got for Easter that she sleeps with every night now.


As you can see from the pictures above, she has no pants because I can't afford any pants right now. Nah, just kidding... She's potty training! I started a month ago, but I was so afraid that she would revert back to diapers that I didn't say anything. She's been doing good so far, but there are some good days and some bad days that I just want to scream at her. Oh wait, I do scream at her... hahaha... But I told Blaine that I definitely deserve a mother's day gift this year for potty training our daughter.

And... we also moved her into her big girl bed. Here she is with all her friends jumping on her bed. She had so much fun and still to this day keeps talking about it. Awww... my little girl is growing up. tear, tear ;)
