Just Hanging Out...

Just some pictures of the kiddos.

Brenden attacking the Sunday newspaper. He sure crawls fast to compete with his sister. Look at his determination.

Brother and Sister, do you see the resemblance?
Yes, my son's hair is out of control. We call him Einstein.

These next pictures just show how goofy these kids are. Sometimes they drive me nuts, but you got to love them! :) By the way, that's one of Emi's favorite thing to say, "Mommy, I drive you nuts!" And then I say, "Yes, you do."

Happy 8 months old Brenden! Sorry, it was yesterday, I forgot. What kind of mother am I? Wait, I remember, this is my second child. Sorry... but it's so true. We still love you!!

Updates on Brenden:
- He's a chunk! Don't know how much he weighs, but now it hurts to carry him for a long time.
- He's a crawler. Tries to find everyone around the house.
- He can sit up by himself
- Can clap his hands or at least tries to
- Just a fun boy to have around and for sure one of Emi's best friends. Hopefully it stays that way...

Tennessee Holiday

I've been home about 2 weeks now and I can't believe that I haven't posted these pictures yet. It seriously took me that long to recover and get caught up with the house work. You must be thinking that my house is immaculate, but it's still not. Yes, I'm pathetic. :(

It was nice to go back to Tennessee to see my family and be with them for Christmas and New Years. It was freezing cold there and I could not handle it because Arizona has made me so spoiled. I've become such a wimp that I don't even know how I survived Utah. When we came back to AZ the weather was in the 70's. I have been going outside every day just to thaw out a little.

Here's some pictures of our trip.

Emi and Baachan (my mom) hanging out at the house on my Dad's Birthday. Happy Birthday Dad!

While we were there, we went to Chuck E Cheese for some family fun. I haven't played so many games since I was single at BYU playing at the Nickel Cade. (Does that place even exist anymore?) Emi was in pure heaven as you can see on her face.

Then we went to Nashville to the Grand Ole Opry and got a little taste of Christmas in New York as we watched the Rockettes.

This is us waiting for the show to start.
My Grandma from Maui (Grammie) got to come with us and enjoy the holidays in TN. We really enjoyed having her there.

The kids being silly at one of my favorite shopping centers, The Grand Ole Opry Mall. "wuaaaaa" (Voice from Heaven)

Then we just hanged around and relaxed in the warm house.

Our boy praying during our Christmas Eve program. (How appropriate!) This is the most reverent he's been other than sleeping, so I had to post this picture.

Emi baked cookies with Auntie. (my sister)

Grandpa played dolls with Emi. Basically, Pooh Bear (Grandpa) was eating all the princesses.

While we were there, my sister's friend got baptized; as a result, we went to his baptism. It was really cool to be there and be part of his baptism.

My Dad got to baptize my sister's friend, Eric.

People at his baptism.

Then of course we ATE and ATE!
I think this was New Years Food. It was good to go home and eat "ono" Hawaiian and Japanese food. I was so sad when we left because my parents had so much leftovers and I wanted to take some home with me.

Emi waiting to eat.

Overall, it was great to be with my family and enjoy the holidays with them. Thanks to everyone, especially my parents for everything that they did and continue to do! We love and miss you all!

Merry Christmas!

These pictures just crack me up, so I had to post them.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! Will post later of our Tennessee Christmas Adventure.
