Brenden's First Haircut

I know this is long overdue, but I thought I could grow out his hair and have it all curly. It was nice and curly for a little while, but then it grew out and it became a gnarly, tangled up hair mess. Then it wasn't so cute anymore...

I thought I was going to be scared cutting his hair, but you get to that point where his hair was so ugly in the first place that nothing I do is going to mess it up. I think I did a pretty good job. You think I have a chance with Supercuts? :)

Here he is crawling funny on the splashpad. He doesn't like the texture, so he crawls like this all over it. He doesn't complain which is good because Emi use to cry all the time.



Now he's my handsome little boy!

A Little Little Hike Up South Mountain

This past weekend we decided to take a drive up South Mountain for a little hike. Ok, I lied. The main reason we were going up there was because I lost my driver's license when I ran up South Mountain the day before, so I thought I could retrack my steps and find it. I know, I know, I'm an IDIOT! I didn't find my license that day, but on a good note, someone found it for me on the day that I lost it and mailed it back to me. Thank goodness for good honest people! I had already ordered another license, but it was just the peace of mind that my license wasn't out there.

Anyways, here's some pictures of the day.

Emi climbing the mountain. She kept asking me for sticky tape and I was like, "Why do you need sticky tape?" Then she told me that she needed the sticky tape so she could put it on her shoes to climb up the mountain, so she doesn't fall. Where do they come up with this stuff?
