Look at me being all domesticated and stuff...

I finally canned!!! At first, I never really understood why people canned because my mom never did it and with Japanese foods you don't really can. But I was always fascinated by it and wondered if foods really do last that long? I guess they do... we shall see... :)

Thank you Shawna for holding my hand and teaching me the process of how to do this. Super simple... Just never knew how and probably wouldn't have done it if I didn't have you there. I know... I'm such a baby. We only canned one thing, beans, but in Blaine's eyes that's probably the most important one. Now, I'm on a canning adventure and looking at things and saying, "Do you think I can can that?" My eyes have been opened to another world... oh boy! Thanks again!

Also today Brenden is three months old! Wow, time flies by so fast when you're having fun. I know that sounds cheesy, but it's so true. I think with Emi I didn't have the time to sit down and enjoy each moment because I was always working. I feel so blessed to have this time to enjoy being with both Emi and Brenden. It's crazy and sometimes I feel like screaming (and sometimes I do), but it's so much fun.

Brenden and Emi holding hands.

He just started laughing the other day. It's so funny when they first start laughing because all you have to say are really weird words and they just bust up laughing. Brenden's funny word is "goofy".

My little chubby baby. :) Sorry for exposing the diaper.

Now you'll always be able to remember his 3 month mark by Emi and Sydney setting off the emergency exit alarm at Ikea and me slipping in soda and falling on my butt 3 minutes later.

Let me know what you want to can next. I only know a few things but there's all sorts of experts in the ward who know more. We're so lucky!

Glad you get to spend more time with your kiddos now, even I am with Eli 24/7 I still think that he is growing too fast. Wow, Brenden is already 3 months old, that's right! He is so handsome and what a big boy! So cute!

That's so neat about canning the beans, next time when we talk I have to ask you about it! Great idea!

Wow canning that is a tall order. Maybe you will have to teach me as well, I'm not feeling motivated right now. You are amazing doing all that you do with Brenden being only 3 months. You are my hero!!
