What a Week... and it's not even done with YET

This week has got to be one of the most stressful week I have had in a long time. First, let us start off with Blaine. Blaine has finals this week, so of course he's super stressed, plus he works this crazy job as well. So on Tuesday, he was driving home and got a phone call from work and had to turn around to get back to work, so he pulled into some warehouse to turn around. As he was doing that and talking on the phone, he didn't see the tire gutter and as a result, blew out all his tires, not 1 or 2, but ALL 4. I felt bad for him because I knew that he was stressed out and apparently, this happens quite often at this warehouse, but since it was closing time, there were a lot of people leaving and giving him a hard time. So, I decided not to blow up like I would usually do because he probably already had his punishment.
Then yesterday, I had to go to Fry's to get some groceries which were long overdue because my work has been crazy busy lately; therefore, I had a lot of things on my mind. I got out of the car and got Emi out of her car seat and then shut the door, then realized that I had locked myself out of the car. The bad thing about this was that Blaine was taking a final and he shuts off his phone, plus I didn't want to bother him. So, I didn't panic, went inside and figured that I would call a Taxi. I called the Taxi, but they wouldn't give me a ride because I didn't have cash (my bag was locked in the car)... soo annoying, had to fight with them to make an exception, but still wouldn't give me a ride. Then I called the locksmith, I seriously called every locksmith in Arizona and no one would pick up. So, I was basically stranded in the grocery store and I started to panic a little bit. Then as I was starting to feel this way, I saw Bro. ad Sis. Bullard. I was SO happy and asked them if I could just get a ride home. I just started crying tears of happiness and frustration with myself. I had never felt so helpless before.
I just wanted to express my gratitude Bro. and Sis. Bullard and the church. I'm so thankful for the church not only for the gospel but also the friendship and comraderie we have with everyone. It's a reassurance that wherever you go, you will never be alone and will always have the church and great people in it. I would also like thank Fry's for giving a 10% discount on the first Wednesday of every month to all people over 55, which I found out from Bro. Bullard on our ride home, that's why they were there. :)

Through all this, Emi didn't even notice anything. Ooh, it is great to be a kid.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

Wow, what a week! I wish I could had helped! We had similar week before and it was extremely hard not to be mad at everything. I'm glad most trials don't last forever. I didn't know you work. Do you work from home? What do you do? I certainly hope you have a better week. I on the other hand have almost NO work to do (I'm a mortgage processor)so you can always call me if you need anything or just a ride!

That's really cool that you're a mortgage processor, good to know. Yeah, I work for a credentialing software company, I fix databases. BORING... :) But I like it. Anyways, Thank you so much for offering a ride. I will keep you in mind for next time, hopefully there won't be a next time, but knowing me, it will probably happen again.

You poor thing! I hate that feeling of being stranded somewhere. It was definitely a "tender mercy" that your friends showed up when you needed them. =) I hope Blaine did well on his finals!

I'm so glad you were close to home and that you didn't have Emi in the car when you locked yourself out--that is my WORST fear, locking my kids in the car! (In fact, I started putting a spare key in a magnetic box under my car because of it) I have had weeks like that. I'm glad its over for you. You probably couldn't have found better people at the store to help you out. The Bullards have helped us out so much too!

Been there, done that with locking my purse and keys in the car....but my experience included Maia being locked in as well...long story, but it was a VERY traumatic experience for me until the door was open. As for Maia, she was having a ball in the car by herself...she found my purse, got out my cell phone, gave me an ear to ear grin through the window because she knows it is off limits and just chatted away until someone came to open the door. But ya, I know how frustrating that can be! Hopefully your week got better!
