Another year of getting older... Yikes, it was my birthday. This is going to be a short post, but I just wanted to thank everyone for making my day so special. Thank you so much for the calls, emails and gifts. I feel so blessed to have such great friends and family. You guys are the best and I love you all.
Blaine and I got to go out on a date for my birthday. It's been about eight months since we've actually gone out on a date. It was kind of weird because all we could really talk about was Emi. But, it was so nice to not have to worry about her and have her yelling for food. I had a great day and I just want to thank everyone for making my day so special.
Here'a little Emi update. Emi started walking!!! She started walking on July 4th, and literally, she just stood up and started walking to Blaine. Now, she moves all over the house. She is so funny because everytime you ask her a question, she always says, 'YEAH!'. She doesn't know what you are saying, but any question you ask her, she'll reply back and say 'YEAH!' Anyways, she is our little entertainer and cracks us up.
This is the beautiful cake that Shawna got for me. It was a perfect gift because we forgot to get a cake anyway. Thank you so much!!! We all love you!

No, just dinner and then shopping. But still just being out by ourselves was kind of weird... :) I kept looking in the back of our car for Emi. It's just a habit, I guess...
Happy Birthday!! That is so funny that you saw my family in Utah when you came!! My sister told me she kept thinking it was you but didn't want to look stupid by asking...then she said she finally had to!
