Yes, we went to Mexico again for the Labor Day weekend. I didn't know we were going till Wednesday night, so it was kind of an unplanned trip for us. Blaine wanted to head down before he got too involved with school.
It was a nice little break for us as we headed up into the mountains and enjoyed much cooler weather. I can't wait for it to become cold in Arizona. If you live here, you just sweat all the time.
While we were there, we went to the Whetten's ranch house and enjoyed some peace and quiet up in the mountains. But I guess we didn't get that much peace and quiet with four little kids running around. My child being the worse, of course. But Emi had a nice time playing with her cousins and just being outside all day.
While we were driving to Mexico, we saw a few rattlesnakes on the road. It had been raining a lot, so they were just moving onto the dirt road to get dry. I have never seen a rattlesnake out in the wild, so of course we had to stop and take a picture. I was so scared because some of them were moving really fast, so I thought they were going to attack me. Scary snakes...

How fun that you guys go to Mexico all the time! If Brazil was that close, we would be going there a lot too.

That's nice that you could escape the heat for a bit. I'm starting to wonder if it will ever get cooler. Oh and when you think it can't get any worse with Emi, just think of that time you babysat Chase and I'm sure you will feel so grateful for such a sweet little girl, j/k. Anyway I love the snake pictures, I don't think I would have even been able to get close enough to take one, you are brave! That is such a fun trip, see you Saturday!

hey Aika! It's been a while... I have been so busy and didn't update my blog or check anyone's blog! I love the pictures, Emi is so cute! And now that I just remember you guys are by Phoenix area... Santino is doing a month rotation at Mayo now... it's not even a week yet! He is staying at a house in Phoenix.
Anyway, sounds so fun you guys always go on road trips... we would like to go somewhere after his Mayo rotation, but couldn't yet decided where to go...
OH oh oh yes, and I meant to tell you, "We are going to have a boy!"
